For sale is our long time owned Mastercraft Prostar 205. We are only the second owners of the boat, buying from a good friend 18 years ago in 2000 when I shipped it to the UK from the Florida USA. When we bought it in 2000 it had just 70 hours on the clock. It comes complete with a genuine Mastercraft trailer which was built in 2000.It tows absolutely beautifully due to the design and construction of the trailer. Also included is the spare wheel (un used) Having only had outboard boats for skiing before , I couldn’t believe how fantastic it was, both driving and skiing behind a world class tournament ski boat. The power is awesome, along with the space in the boat for family and friends. The boat has only done 538 genuine running hours from new. A boat of this age could easily have done 5000 hours. Ideal for Waterskiiing, Wakeboarding, or towing ringos this boat can do it all and clearly hardly been used. The boat has only ever been used on fresh water and stored under a canopy on a boat lift (as per the pictures). During the winter the tower is removed and the boat and trailer are kept garaged. This has certainly helped keep it in such lovely condition. 4 years ago I had a few cushions recovered. These were done with quality marine fabric and along with the rest of the trim look lovely. The boat also had a new marine weatherproof cover made. This is also in perfect condition, no holes and doesn’t let any water in. I also had the stainless steel tower custom made at a cost of £2200 8 years ago. The welding is a work of art and compliments the boat in my opinion. The tower can easily be removed As anyone who knows their mastercraft the Hull was used later on for the X type boats and as such is ideal for either Waterskiing or wakeboarding. The big advantage of this ski boat is the front seating. This is ideal as it allows friends to sit safely out of the way if you have a skier ‘going for it’ on the centre ski pole.We also found by having the tower we could put the ski rope on the tower and then the whole boats seating can be used making it a great social boat seating 10 maximum. Reason for sale – Over the last two years we sadly havent used the boat really very much at all ,as our children have now grown up and found other interests! 2016 the boat was skied behind just a couple of times and in 2017 the boat did just one lap of the lake and as such we sold our plot, Static van boat lift and now finally our beloved boat must go . However it did get a new water impeller, gearbox and engine oil last year but really could do with being used. I also have all the original documentation that came with the boat from new. There really cant be many 25 year old mastercrafts having just 2 owners and in this condition. There are a few marks as you would expect for its age but overall she is in a fantastic condition. I would recommend a viewing where I can show you more / answer any questions, I can run the engine up on the drive but as you will appreciate I cannot offer sea trials so it would have to be bought sold as seen, however i think the price reflects this. I am therefore selling as is with no offers at this stage and hopefully the boat will go to a new home where it will be continued to be loved.
